Artist, yogi and meditation practitioner Helene Cotton created these unique handpainted framed drishtis to encourage moments of sweet reflection. Inspired by nature, time, possibility, perspective, emotion, landscape, and the concept of spaciousness, each is a unique original watercolor and ink drawing in a 4.25" x 4.25” brass hexagon frame. They're lovely on an altar or placed as a focal point in a meditation practice, or combine a few to create an intentional, visual wall cluster. Titled and signed by Helene. Arrives festively wrapped for gift giving. Choose from:
Soft Gaze: In practice, the soft gaze can help you to work less. Less striving, and more surrendering. Loosen your jaw, relax your tongue, and soften your gaze to let what is there just be.
Air: Whimsical air, existence without form.
Moonglow: This drishti will shine its misty moon magic on you.
Earth: Inspired by the earth element in Ayurveda. Earth is the most building or additive of all the elements, and connotes substance and stability.
As Above, So Below: And likewise, as within, so without. This drawing is a reflection on the inner and outer you.
Bouquet: In this fascinating pattern, I start with hexagons, which become cubes, which become flowers, and a little bouquet of wonder forms. A reminder that all things can be shifted and reframed, and sweetness may lay at the center.
Twilight: Evening fades into night, the golden moon is rising, and it's subtle glow falls down from the skies on you.
Dawn Rising: That singular moment when the sun begins peeking up from the horizon, and the day is full of possibility and hope.
There is No Light Without the Dark: There is no escaping the dualities of this universe, where light and dark play together, and we couldn't know one without the other.
Outer Spiral: Anyone remember the outer spirals of Anusara yoga? These muscular spirals were patterns to find an energized and engaged pose. When practicing asana, root, then rise, feeling the energy spiral through you.
Balance: Being in balance is a complex and ever-shifting dance. A little reminder to navigate it with grace and flow.
Commitment: Forever entwined together... It's not necessarily a person, maybe it's an idea or a practice. What will you commit to the exploration of?
Compass Rose: Let the cardinal directions guide you toward your own true north and you may bloom like a flower opening in spring.
Courage: Have courage on this path. It's rarely straightforward, but the beauty awaits you.
Interconnected: This watercolor and ink drawing reveals the web holding all of everything together.
