Dandiya Neck Cushion design was inspired by Dandiya, an Indian folk dance originally performed in honor of the Goddess Durga. Dancers, moving in circular formations, strike wooden sticks as a drummer standing in the center sets the rhythm of the dance. Black and white with stitching detail and plush amber velvet. Finished with illuminating orange, a color significant in Hindu, Buddhist and Sikh faiths, and festooned with a fun tassel like those seen on the camels of Rajasthan’s great Thar Desert. 100% cotton cover, liner and buckwheat hull fill. So lovely your practice will be inspired.
