Kitchen Yoga: The Birthing Story of Self-Care...a note from the author April 29 2015, 0 Comments

Kitchen Yoga: Simple Home Practices to Transform Mind, Body and Life is the birth of a dream, the birth of sharing self care and a new level of igniting self-healing power for myself and others.

I was in labor with baby Roman (now 14months) when Lisa McGuinness the amazing owner/publisher of Yellow Pear Press, contacted me with the idea of Kitchen Yoga. I thought to myself: do I dare write a book while in the throws of mothering an infant and two other little boys? Three weeks postpartum we commenced on our inspiring collaboration. Baby Roman was on my lap during much of the creation process. He was my co-writer and muse (with an honorary mention to Sesame Street for amusing my other little ones). It is a dream come true to share these life-changing tools with you, including those that healed and created my own blessed life.

I hope this petite, powerful book ignites your soul to birth your deepest, most fulfilling self-love and the dreams you hold.  A small spark can create a roaring fire:  begin with small, simple, integrated intentions and actions throughout your day...before long you'll be creating the life you want.
